Life goes on….
November 4, 2007 – 2:05 amIts me again, had viva of ISSL (Information System Security Lab) yesterday. These exams are now nothing special for me. Everything was decided as always about who’s gonna get how much marks, nothing was in control of external examiner, HOD was the supreme personality here. Whole Viva was just a formality, guess it was right and wrong for me in some way or other.
First question asked was “have you three ever done some hacking ?” (yeah it was not one to one viva). The very first use of Linux was my first introduction to hacking, i didnt reply to this question. X11org.conf file settings when the graphics all went garbled and then setting up my graphics card to work with Beryl, configuring firestarter and then setting up Samba server and ICS, wasn’t all this Hacking ?. But people consider hacking as intruding someones system and stealing password etc. as the only thing thats honorable to call hacking. So I was better off without saying it all.
I was flawed too, there is no denying to this. I started preparing last eve at 8pm, thats what I always do. Never felt like explaining answers to examiner, dont know but that feeling of learning with enthusiasm has gone since SE of Engg. Now its all a drag to complete BE.
But my hobbies are still alive. Probably the one more reason to say that life is beautiful. I was not like all this, was a sincere boy since school days and was pro at studies, but then somewhere my other side was constantly pushed down and then it all changed in last few years. The other side has taken over me.
At 5 in morning I watched Lovers Concerto-a romance melodrama dealing with friendship, jealousy and ties that bind.. I thought it to be an excellent movie with a happy ending, but the end was so moving that whole day went with a dull mood, i felt so bad about the characters in the movie, even after getting it all they lost it all. I won’t spoil the movie for you. Son Ye Jin was perfect for her role while Lee Eun Ju(I feel sorry that she committed suicide in real life) acting was appreciable, Cha Teh Hyun was never behind. There are very few movies in which u feel for the characters even after the movie ends.Know how it feels losing some precious moment.
Here is the trailer Lovers Concerto
I guess I should stop writing now….
Here is the cookie for now, its one of my fav song thatt I came to know about while playing Indigo Prophecy.
